A visit to the beautician is relaxing and good for the skin. We’ll tell you how you can do your very own facial treatment, step by step, at home.
Sometimes you just don’t have the time or the necessary change to treat yourself to a facial in the beauty salon. YoursskinAdbut does not have to suffer from it. You can also easily do a facial yourself at home. We’ll tell you how it’s done.
Step #1: cleaning
Before you start the actual cosmetic treatment, you should clean your face thoroughly. This step is essential because this is the only way to prevent skin blemishes and ensure that all care products are as good as possible from yoursskinAdbe included. Use a cotton pad and high-quality cleansing milk and run it over your face in gentle, circular movements until it is completely cleansed.
Step #2: steam bath
After cleansing the face, the skin is pampered with a steam bath in the cosmetic studio. This supplies the skin with moisture and opens the pores, so that dirt and excess sebum loosen.
You can easily make a steam bath yourself at home. To do this, take a bowl and fill it with boiling water. Then you can add herbs or essential oils. Place a towel over your head and carefully lean over the bowl. If you’re not in the mood for a DIY steam room, you can also use a professional facial steamer.
Step #3: enzyme scrub
Your skin will now be cleaned out in the cosmetic studio. However, we strongly advise against doing this yourself at home. Inflammations develop far too quickly – and that not only looks ugly but can also be very painful. Better to try an enzyme peel. Many cosmetic studios also offer this peeling – it is much gentler and also ensures that small impurities disappear.
Caution: Read the package insert carefully before peeling. There are a few things that you need to be aware of. For example, you should avoid direct sunlight shortly after the peeling!
Step #4: face mask
Masks come in many different variations. For your DIY facial, you can choose a mask according to your individual needs. Would you like to provide your skin with extra moisture and give it a beautiful glow? A mask that contains aloe vera, for example, is suitable for this. If you want something that additionally cleanses your face, you can, for example, use a peel-off mask with activated charcoal
Step #5: facial massage roller
In most cosmetic studios, the cosmetic treatment is completed with a facial massage. This not only feels incredibly good but also relieves tension and ensures good blood circulation in the skin. And this in turn gives the skin an extra portion of glow. For the face massage, you can simply use your fingers and some face cream. However, there are also special massage rollers for the face – this makes it feel even more pleasant.
